Rasashastra & B.K. which is iatrochemistry and Ayurvedic pharmaceutics deals with selection of Quality Raw drugs, their collection, processing of poisonous herbs, manufacture of herbal, herbo -mineral, herbo metallic formulations and their therapeutic indications, dose, vehicle and diet.
The department is fully equipped with various instruments, specimens, molecule, charts etc. Practical lab is well equipped for carried out all essential practical’s as per syllabus. There is also a Teaching pharmacy / in house pharmacy with well-equipped Quality control lab. Our department is situated in ground floor of main college building. The total area covered by department is in 193.60 sq.mtr and teaching pharmacy about 236.01 sq.mtr.

- Our quality control laboratory is provided with various Analytical instruments like friability apparatus, D.T. apparatus. Routinely we are analysing drugs prepared in our teaching pharmacy /In house Pharmacy for quality assurance.
OBJECTIVES
- Enable the graduates to prepare formulations for medical practice.
- To create awareness regarding various research aspects in Ayurvedic formulations.
- To motivate the students regarding various research aspects in ayurvedic formulations
- Arrangement of GMP Certified pharmacy visit in all over India for students & staff.
