Ayurveda is ancient science of life which is not only medical science but an Art of living in human being. Sanskrit Samhita Siddhant department is the first and most important department of Ayurveda. Also known as Basic Principles. This department is concerned with basic principles of Ayurveda which are described in classical Texts i.e. Ayurvedic Samhitas. Which are written in Sanskrit language which is divine language.so to understand Samhitas with their true meanings Sanskrit is thought by this department.

- Moulik Siddhant & Ashtang Hrudayam

- Charak Samhita (U)
Facilities
- Museum –Charts and Models—There are 57 charts & 15 models.
- Departmental Library—Total 112 books are there in departmental Library.
- Computer with internet facilities.
